Welcome to the Hodag Dome!

Welcome to the Hodag Dome, the largest air-supported high school dome in the nation! It offers 128,000+ square feet of space to be used by our students, our student athletes, our community, and visitors to our area.

The Hodag Dome houses a full size turf football field, a soccer pitch, and two regulation size softball or youth baseball fields, or four futsal fields. Additionally, the dome has four tennis courts that are also lined for pickleball, a six lane 100m straight track, a community walking area, batting cages, golf simulators, and sports court flooring that can accommodate basketball or volleyball.

Dome Community Hours

Dome School Year Open Hours: From September - May, we will generally be open**

Mondays - Fridays: 6am-noon & 6pm-9pm

Saturdays: Closed

Sundays: 4pm-8pm

**These times are subject to change depending on tournaments, holidays, and other events. For today's specific schedule, scroll down and find today's date to see the current hours. We welcome visitors to tour the Dome at no charge during open hours. Adult visitors who wish to participate in dome activities may purchase a $5 daily guest pass. Children 18 and under are free.

Adult Backyard Bocce Ball League

Fun adult backyard-style Bocce ball league being held in the Hodag Dome on Thursday evenings from Nov 5-Dec 17 from 6pm-7:30pm. We will not have league the week of Thanksgiving. Teams may be made up of 2-4 players and inexperienced players are welcomed. Bocce ball sets will be provided. Each Thursday, all teams will play three, 25 minute games. Only the team manager needs to register online on behalf of their team. Cost is $20/team for the season. Prizes will be awarded for the winning team upon conclusion of the league schedule.

Community Education Classes: Rock Solid-Strength & Balance for Aging Well 9:15-10:15am (special time today)

Toddler Turf Time: 9-10:30am. Join us for some fun, mostly unstructured toddler play time on the turf. It's a perfect time for kids to socialize and explore and for caregivers to connect. Intended for ages 6 months - 5 years. No cost or membership required. Please bring your ID to check in and come and go as it works best for you.

The Hodag Dome is closed for Dome activities today as we host portions of the RHS Marching Band Showcase followed by the YMCA Flag Football Tournament. The Marching Band Showcase is planned to primarily be held outside at Mike Webster Stadium unless there is inclement weather causing it to be moved indoors.

The Hodag Dome is open from 12pm-2pm for a special Halloween Community Recess! Join us for Halloween games and fun! Costumes encouraged. All ages welcome, games targeted for kids under 10. No membership required.
