Rhinelander, WI - The Rhinelander Community Foundation is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2026 Youth Philanthropy Project. Nonprofit organizations serving the Rhinelander Community are encouraged to apply for grant funding of up to $2500 to be used within one year of grant receipt.
The Rhinelander Youth Philanthropy Project is a program funded by the Rhinelander Community Foundation in cooperation with the Rhinelander High School Leadership Development classes, with the goal of having students experience community philanthropy first hand. Rhinelander High School offers two levels of Leadership Development, the first level focusing on developing critical personal traits for leaders, and the second level centers on the individual’s role in team leadership.
The partnership aims to develop leadership, critical thinking and collaboration skills among high school students in our community. By learning about philanthropy and nonprofits first-hand, students gain the tools to strengthen their hometown and foster lifelong civic engagement.
Organizations serving residents of the Rhinelander community are now invited to apply for funding. Keeping in mind that these applications will be reviewed by high school aged students, brevity is appreciated!
