Substitute Information

Terms/Schedule: As Needed

GUEST TEACHERS~ Salary/Wage: $140/Full Day (New Increase)
Long-term assignments are defined as ten (10) consecutive days or more in the same position - $205/Full Day

Requirements: 
Associate Degree or higher
Substitute training certificate (information on this is provided by the HR office at SDR)
Substitute License with the Department of Public Instruction (Assistance with applying is provided by the HR office at SDR)

General Responsibilities: In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute is responsible for providing instruction and managing the learning environment. The position reports to the principal or designee at the location to which they are assigned.

GUEST SUPPORT STAFF TEACHING ASSISTANTS- $14.50/Hour

GUEST SECRETARIES - $16.00/Hour
