School District of Rhinelander - 2026-2027 Academic Year

4K Registration Opens on February 1, 2026.

Must be born on or before, September 1, 2022. This means that on or before September 1, 2026, they’ll be 4 years old. Five-year-old students must enroll in 5-Year-Old Kindergarten.
The school district of Rhinelander will be continuing the expanded 4K at 5 days a week. We will have a full day (at the school associated with your home address). We believe this change positively supports both students and families in our community in many ways.

The open enrollment application period for the 2026-27 school year is February 2 - April 30, 2026 at 4:00pm. Please visit the WI DPI Open Enrollment website for more details.

You live in the district and you want your child to attend a school other than the School District of Rhinelander. Open Enrolled OUT
