Strategic Plan Information
In 2021, the School District of Rhinelander created a new Strategic Plan. The plan has four core areas- Student Learning & Success, Operational & Financial Stewardship, High-Performing Teams, and Engagement & Connectedness. Each core area has several performance indicators for all to set measurable goals as school district, building, and staff member.
Every July, the SDR School Board and Administration will review the results, identify areas of strength and areas for improvement, and make revisions if necessary to our goals.
The Department of Public Instruction Report Card results are an important part of this plan. However, every school district is much more than state testing results. We believe the plan and results provide a much clearer picture of what any school can be for students and staff.
The School District of Rhinelander Board of Education reviewed the results for the 2022-23 Strategic Plan. The School District earned the following grades for each area. Student Learning & Success-Meets Expectations, Operational & Financial Stewardship-Significantly Exceeds Expectations, High-Performing Teams-Exceeds Expectations, and Engagement & Connectedness-Exceeds Expectations.
Overall, The School District of Rhinelander Exceeds Expectations in the Ratings of the Strategic Plan for 2022-23! We are focusing our planning on how we can build on our areas of strength and our areas for growth opportunities. Congratulations to all students, staff, and families. It is a great time to be a Hodag!
Sincerely,
Eric Burke
