Bowling
Run as part of the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin's High School Bowling Club. Season runs October to March. Practice is typically one to two evenings a week and one meet a month on Sundays. No experience is necessary. Advisor: Cory Dellenbach
Drama
Students audition, prepare and perform 2 drama productions per school year. They are involved in all facets of the production, which include, acting, set design, costumes, lighting and drama competition. Advisor: Kristin Higgins
Educators Rising
Educators Rising is a career and technical student organization for any student interested in pursuing a career in education or working with youth in a future career. Students participate in various activities and events throughout the year that help build character skills, impact others in a positive way, network with various professionals, compete in state and local competitions for education-related topics, volunteer with various community groups, and learn about the world of education to help plan and prepare for a post-secondary career. ESports
The Wisconsin High School Esports Association governs, supports and promotes the growth of high school esports through community development, advocacy, equitable participation, and interscholastic competition to enrich the educational experience.
FCA
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a multi denominational international Christian ministry that seeks to encourage students to grow in their faith with Jesus Christ through Bible study, service and fellowship with other students on campus. We discuss the unchanging truths of the Bible and how these truths apply to our lives and the lives in the people around us. We desire to love others the way Jesus loves us. We meet bi weekly and our leader is the leader of Headwaters Youth Christian fellowship. Advisor: Josh Calhoun
FBLA/DECA
It’s not who you know, it’s who knows you! By becoming an active member of FBLA/DECA, you will make connections with your school, community, and beyond as well as form networks that will last a life-time!! As the largest RHS organization, students will be joining with thousands of others across the nation who are members of these premier organizations. Opportunities exist for scholarships, membership awards, community service, fundraising, competition, and travel. FBLA/DECA prepares students for “real world” professional experiences in business management and administration; finance; marketing; hospitality and tourism; logistics; and related careers. Members will be provided with unique opportunities to practice the skills and knowledge they are learning in the classroom; as well as, gaining the competitive edge for college and career success! FCCLA
FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) is a nationwide organization that offers intra-curricular resources and opportunities for students who aspire to make an impact in families and communities. Students also have the opportunity to compete, which allows students to make a real difference in their community, as well as have a chance to get awards, scholarships, and more. Throughout the year FCCLA members make dinner for the local homeless shelter, volunteer at Ruby’s Pantry, and make crafts for the Boys and Girls Club to give thanks to our community. HOSA
HOSA (Health Occupations Students Of America) is a club that focuses on students who want to work in the healthcare industry in the future. We hold blood drives for the school and community, We provide hygiene baskets for the students at the high school. We bake treats for our local police & fire department to show our appreciation, And make cards for local nursing homes for the residents. In the spring we host a color run to help raise money for a family in need or who may be in debt due to medical expenses. Throughout the year we host a lotus bar and sell other goodies to help other causes in our community. HOSA is a club that gets involved in the community and supports students who want to go into the health industry. Advisor: Sadie Adamski

A self-governing organization that determines its own service activities. This club is affiliated with the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan District and Key Club International. Link Crew
Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, Boomerang Project’s proven high school transition program trains junior and senior students to be Link Crew Leaders. As positive role models, Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success. Mock Trial
Mock Trial offers students the opportunity to experience the legal system firsthand, by playing the roles of attorneys and witnesses in a courtroom setting. In addition to fostering a better understanding of the law, Mock Trial promotes important life skills such as public speaking, team work, logical argumentation, poise, and extemporaneous thinking. Interscholastic tournaments are held at county courthouses throughout the state, judged by practicing judges and attorneys. Of the more than 100 teams participating in Mock Trial statewide, no school has won more state championships than Rhinelander High School, and RHS is the only school in the state to win the national title. If you would like to be part of a competitive extracurricular activity with the best record in the state, then Mock Trial is for you! Advisors: Steven Jopek and Brevin Persike
National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921. Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in NHS activities. NHS chapters are found in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, many U.S. territories and Canada. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service. Oneida County Teen Court Panelist
The Teen Court program is part of Oneida County Circuit Court and run by UW-Madison Division of Extension-Oneida County. It gives first-time offenders a second chance by assigning sanctions that help them learn from past decisions. The sanctions are decided by other teens, called panelists, instead of the judge. Panelists interview the youth and family members to find out not just what happened, but why, and assign sanctions accordingly. Teen Court panelists must be great listeners, team players, and capable of keeping up with classwork when missing classes to hear cases. Also, as part of the legal system, panelists MUST keep ALL information about cases confidential. Cases are heard either over Zoom in the evening or at the Courthouse on Tuesday or Thursday mornings. Raise Your Voice Club
Raise Your Voice is a club that empowers teens to create a new conversation about mental health through education, leadership development and civic advocacy. Rhinelander Robotics Club (RoboHodags) allows students to strengthen STEM skills, meet like-minded peers, develop problem-solving abilities, enhance creativity, gain teamwork experience, learn new skills, and collaborate with other students while building and completing robotic based challenges.

Spanish Club
Spanish club plans and fundraisers foreign language trips abroad. Students must take a Spanish class offering to be in this club. Advisor: Mara Krueger
Special Olympics
Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed, regardless of ability or disability. We are helping to make the world a better, healthier and more joyful place—one athlete, one volunteer, one family member at a time. Currently, we compete in fall bowling and a spring unified sports club. Athletes must be at least 8 years old. Advisor: Nina Hazelton
Student Council
This student organization meets during school about twice a month to resolve issues in the school and provide services and events for the students and staff. Participants are either elected to a council office in April, a class office in May, or selected as a class representative. The 44-member group must practice dedication and responsibility in order to improve the school. Advisors: Amber Laggis
Tabletop Gaming Club
Tabletop Gaming Club is an activity that welcomes players of all experience levels to take part in a variety of tabletop games, particularly Dungeons and Dragons! D&D is a cooperative storytelling game that encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking. Students can learn to create their own characters or even their own campaigns, and join together to explore fantasy realms, battle monsters, and take on epic quests! New players are welcome! Trap Team
Come join one of the fastest-growing, safest sports available. A coed sport for all abilities, that you can participate in for the rest of your life. Our sport will help refine your hand and eye coordination while you get to turn clay targets to dust. Along the way, you will learn discipline, comradery, and good sportsmanship. Our team is a family-friendly sport where parents and family members are encouraged to attend practices and events. Scholarships are available to students who excel in trap and many colleges have teams where you can continue your trap shooting journey. Advisor: Phil Kriesel
