About Central

Central Elementary School serves students in Early Childhood through 5th grade in the Rhinelander community. We are a school where every student and staff member is valued, known, and an important part of our school community. Our work is grounded in three simple beliefs: We belong. We believe. We grow.

We are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel safe, connected, and ready to learn. Through strong relationships, high-quality instruction, collaboration, and targeted support, we work together to help every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Central offers a variety of opportunities for students to connect, lead, learn, and have fun beyond the classroom. From athletics and student activities to family events, mentoring, celebrations, and school traditions, we believe that a strong school community helps every student feel that they belong.
