Samsung American Legion Scholarship General 6/4/2024 Various Amounts
Requirements:

Eligibility requirements:

  • A high school girl between junior and senior year

  • Attend the current session of either an American Legion Boys State or American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program

  • Direct descendent of a veteran (child, grandchild, great grandchild, etc.) or a legally adopted child of a wartime U.S. military veteran who served on active duty during at least one of the periods of war officially designated as eligibility dates for American Legion membership.

Other Information:

Samsung scholarships may be used for undergraduate studies and applied toward tuition, books, fees, and room and board. Winners are selected according to academic record, involvement in school and community service.

  • Ten National Scholars receive $10,000 each (two from each region)
  • Ten National Runners-Up receive $5,000 each (two from each region)
  • Remaining Department Finalists receive $1,250 each guaranteed

WCA Group Health Trust Scholarship General 6/7/2024 $2,000
Requirements:
  1. Will you be enrolled as a full time undergraduate student at a four-year Wisconsin university or a two-year Wisconsin Technical College (public or private) in the fall of 2024?
  2. Is your major healthcare related?
  3. Are you, your grandparent, parent, or guardian a member of a WCA Group Health Trust member group?

  4. Have a minimum GPA 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
