Title: Mindful Eating / Ditch Food Stress

Learn to let go of judgmental attitudes attached to eating, manage food cravings and impulses, and tune in to your internal hunger and fullness cues. Recognize situations that trigger distracted or stressful eating, and develop a plan for self-care practices without food rewards. This non-diet approach to food can help you create a better balance between eating for enjoyment, and eating for health.
Practical tips and experiments to eat mindfully will be explored, and chocolate will be provided for a mindfully savoring taste experiment. This class is designed to provide insight into eating mindfully and is not intended to be a substitute for therapy.
Date and Time: Tuesdays May 14, 21, and 28 at 6:30-7:30 pm (3 meetings)
Ages: 16 - adult
