What students use the calming room?

Who decides when it is time to go to the calming room?
Alex, “ Sometimes the kid and sometimes the teacher decides. The teacher won’t let me come down when she is teaching.”
What does a sensory break look like ?
Alex , “Kids can quietly play with sand, Legos, magnet tiles or Play Dough.”
Morning Drop Off
7:35-8:05 a.m. is bus drop off time in front of the school. For students’ safety, parents are asked to use the parent parking lot and avoid driving in front of the school during this hectic time.
Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)
The parent advisory committee meets every month in the Pelican Library at 3:15-4:00.
