Northwoods Community Secondary School (NCSS) provides students with an opportunity to make meaningful contributions to economic, natural resource, and other community projects.

By upholding the mission of the School District of Rhinelander “to provide challenging opportunities for each child to succeed in a changing world,” this innovative charter school demonstrates that families, students, schools, and the community, all play a vital role in the education of our youth. Community businesses, service organizations, and community members are invited and encouraged to be active participants in charter school programs, activities, and projects at NCSS.
