Each virtual student will have the benefit of a grade level teacher and parent/guardian who work together to educate the student. The grade level teacher will:

• Collaborate with parent/guardian to develop an Individualized Learning Plan.
• Maintain a classroom website that provides information on classroom activities and includes links to resources that correlate with the project-based curriculum
• Provide curriculum and other resources that correlate with the local and state standards and enhance educational opportunities for virtual students
• Provide assistance with curriculum and assessment
• Communicate on a regular basis to help with questions, planning, locating and using resources, and assessment.

Virtual students have the opportunity to participate in music, art, physical education, projects, field trips, and other special activities with their grade-level classroom.
