JWMS Announcements

Please do not bring latex balloons to school

Friday, Jan. 20, is the next PBIS Hat Day.  On Friday, bring $1 and pay your homeroom teacher if you want to wear your hat.  You will then be given a sticker.  You must keep that sticker visible all day.  If you are seen wearing a hat w/out a visible sticker you will be asked to remove your hat.  All monies raised go directly toward PBIS activities!

Exciting Opportunity
Every year the JWMS Yearbook holds a contest to gather and showcase the art of the many talented students we have in our building. This art then becomes a published part of the 2016-17 yearbook.
Beginning this week, any JWMS student is able to create and submit any and all artistic pieces that have to do with either a HODAG theme and/or a JWMS theme. Some ideas are, but not limited to:
Drawings
Paintings
Lettering
Appropriate school-related cartoons/sketches
We are also holding a contest for COVER ART for the yearbook. For your art to be considered, you must include the following:
The title of our school (JWMS)
The current school year (2016-17)
Art/design of your choice (MUST include a hodag somewhere in the design)
Your signature as the artist
We hope we will receive loads of artwork to showcase. Entries will be accepted up until Friday, January 20th.
Any questions, please see the JWMS webpage or Mrs. Werner in Rm. 119.

Girls basketball team will be dismissed at 2:50pm for their game in Tomahawk--good luck!

Be sure to check the Lost & Found as there are many unclaimed items.
