School District of Rhinelander
"Committed To Excellence"
NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 20, 2017
Message from Superintendent Jacobi
When we are experiencing hazardous weather, including extreme cold, if the schools are going to be closed or delayed, I make that call by 5:30 a.m. and an automated call will go out to all families. Parents will be notified as soon as possible in the event of an early school dismissal. Bad weather is one reason why it is so important to keep your contact information up-to-date with the schools. School closing announcements will be shared with media and will be posted on the District’s website. If the weather is bad but schools aren’t closed, parents can make the decision to keep children home or pick them up early. If parents choose to keep their children home or pick them up early, the absence will be excused. Please contact the schools as soon as possible and let them know the reason for the absence so it can be recorded accurately.
Enjoy a taco dinner followed by a presentation by our School Psychologist on "Developmental Milestones". Children will receive supervision during the presentation. All 4k children in attendance will have the opportunity to win a gift basket.
