COMMUNITY EDUCATION - SPRING CLASSES

THIS SATURDAY - Introduction to Geocaching with Dan Haack.  Begin at the beginning - what is geocaching, using GPS units and smart phones, using Geocaching.com, and hunt for caches.  Saturday 5/18 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at CAVOC.  Bring your own GPS unit or smart phone, or use our GPS unit. Cost is $5 per family.  Course #CE2013427.  Participation is limited to 15.

Introduction to Archery with Roger Morken.  Learn the basics of archery and how to shoot instinctively.  Saturday, 6/1 and 6/8 from 9:00 to Noon at Rhinelander High School in the practice field.  Bring your own bow, or bows will be provided.  Cost is $15 per person. Course #CE2013429.  Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yoga Sampler with Jane Banning.  Yoga is a simple series of exercises and stretches that can lead to increased strength, flexibility, balance and focus. Saturday, 6/8, 6/15 and 6/22 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at CAVOC.  Bring your own mat, or mats will be available.  Cost is $10 per person.  Course #CE2013431.

Puppy Training with Carol Lofquist.  Four week class for puppies up to 10 months old.  Class will focus on potty training, socialization, manners, and behavior "do's" and "don'ts".  Wednesdays 5/29, 6/5, 6/12 and 6/19 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.  Class fee is $50.  Course #CE2013432.  Copy of latest rabies shots is required.  Participation is limited to 10.

Sassy Pup Training with Carol Lofquist.  Dogs of ages are welcome.  Four week class covering owner respect and understanding the body language of your dog.  Wednesdays 6/26, 7/3, 7/10 and 7/17 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.  Class fee is $50.  Course #CE2013433.  Copy of latest rabies shots is required.  Participation is limited to 10.

Socializing Your Dog with Carol Lofquist.  Dogs of all ages are welcome.  Three week session focuses on building manners with your dog while on a leash and interaction with other dogs.  Wednesdays 8/14, 8/21 and 8/28 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm.  Class fee is $45.  Course #CE2013434.  Copy of latest rabies shots is required.  Participation is limited to 10.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES.  Instructors are unable to accept registrations or payment at class.

Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, a confirmation email or letter will be sent to you.  Class confirmations until generally sent approximately five days prior to the class date.

Make checks payable to SDR (School District of Rhinelander).

At this time, we are unable to accept online or credit card payments. To register for a class, please forward your completed registration form with payment to the SDR Community Ed Program.  We are unable to reserve a class seat without payment accompanying a completed registration form.

Cancellations:  Should the class be cancelled by the School District of Rhinelander Community Education Program, refunds will be issued as soon as possible.  We are unable to issue refunds once you have received your confirmation as instructors purchase class materials based upon enrollment.

If the Rhinelander schools are closed due to weather or another unforeseen circumstance, classes are cancelled and a make-up session will be scheduled as soon as possible.
