Mentoring Oneida County Kids (MOCK) is a school-based mentoring program that pairs adults with students.
MOCK is a community effort to provide support and encouragement to students who may be walking on the edge of making poor choices. Often the student just needs another adult in their life who provides support and offers a caring attitude.
Mentors meet with their Mentee one hour per week during school hours. It's a time for fun. It's also a time for kids to feel important!
Do you have one hour per week that you can share with a student who wants a mentor?
This is your opportunity to make a positive difference with a student!
There are many activities you can share during your mentoring time. The short hour flies by!
We currently have several students who wish to have a mentor, and we need adults to offer their time.
The MOCK program is fortunate to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Their program mirrors the MOCK program, so the match is a perfect fit.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor to a School District of Rhinelander student, please visit the Big Brothers Big Sisters website by clicking here, and complete the online application.
